A standard 2-inch receiver with a 50mm chrome ball, which are the common Australian sizes, so it accepts the garden trailers, box trailers and sprayers most properties already own rather than requiring anything bespoke. The receiver format also means the ball mount can be swapped for a different height or a pin-style attachment as needs change. Powder-coated steel handles the wet grass, fertiliser and mud that would rust bare steel quickly at the rear of a working vehicle. Mounting hardware is included. Remember that towing adds substantially to stopping distance, so it is worth reviewing brake condition before putting a loaded trailer behind a buggy.
